The Pineal Gland – what is pineal gland and how to activate it.

I’ve found amazing video about pineal gland and how to activate it. I’ve planed for a long time to write about pineal gland, and this video gave me “wind in the back”, it triggered my desire to give you this as soon as possible. You will see, you don’t need drugs. Your pineal gland produces all that you need to be happy and healthy.

Ok lets start from the beginning – what is pinal gland?

Here is what Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia says about it:

The pineal gland, also known as the pineal body, conarium or epiphysis cerebri, is a small endocrine gland in the vertebrate brain. It produces the serotonin derivative melatonin, a hormone that affects the modulation of sleep patterns in the circadian rhythms and seasonal functions. Its shape resembles a tiny pine cone (hence its name), and it is located in the epithalamus, near the centre of the brain, between the two hemispheres, tucked in a groove where the two halves of the thalamus join. Nearly all vertebrate species possess a pineal gland.

Some call it “third eye”, some “pineal eye, some “spiritual antena”

Thus, produces the serotonin derivative melatonin – why is that important?

Serotonin has been known as contributor to feelings of well-being and happiness.

Melatonin is a hormon,  with the role as a pervasive and powerful antioxidant and with a particular role in the protection of nuclear (nDNA- nuclear deoxyribonucleic acid- adheres to Mendelian inheritance, with information coming from two parents, one male and one female ) and mitochondrial DNA (mtDNA or mDNA – located in organelles called mitochondria, structures within eukaryotic cells that convert chemical energy from food into a form that cells can use. I hope by now we all know that DNA IS WHO WE ARE.

Pay attantion to this: The production of melatonin by the pineal gland is stimulated by darkness and inhibited by light. Now think twice are you going to be night bird or early bird.

Early to bed and early to rise, makes a man healthy, wealthy, and wise.

Unlike much of the rest of the mammalian brain, the pineal gland is not isolated from the body by the blood–brain barrier system. it has profuse blood flow, second only to the kidney. So, it must be very important if our creator decided to fuse it with blood – lol, and not just fuse it but to be second right after kidney.

René Descartes (French philosopher, mathematician and writer 1596 – 1650), dedicating much time to the study of the pineal gland, called it the “principal seat of the soul”.  He believed it to be the point of connection between the intellect and the body. Descartes attached significance to the gland because he believed it to be the only section of the brain to exist as a single part rather than one-half of a pair. He argued that, because a person can never have “more than one thought at a time,” external stimuli must be united within the brain before being considered by the soul, and he considered the pineal gland to be situated in “the most suitable possible place for this purpose,” located centrally in the brain and surrounded by branches of the carotid arteries.

 The size and growth of pineal gland

The human pineal gland grows in size until about 1–2 years of age, remaining stable thereafter, although its weight increases gradually from puberty onwards. The abundant melatonin levels in children are believed to inhibit sexual development, and pineal tumors have been linked with precocious puberty. When puberty arrives, melatonin production is reduced. It is the size of the pea. So small and yet so powerful – gateway of physical and spiritual.

But, what happens as we get older?!


The pineal gland is often seen in skull X-rays, when it is calcified (in old age). Calcification of the pineal gland is typical in adults, and has been observed in children as young as 2. Calcification rates vary widely by country and correlate with an increase in age, with calcification occurring in an estimated 40% of Americans by their 17th year. Calcification of the pineal gland is largely associated with corpora arenacea (or “acervuli,” or “brain sand”).

It seems that the internal secretions of the pineal gland inhibit the development of the reproductive glands, because, in cases where it is severely damaged in children, the result is accelerated development of the sexual organs and the skeleton. In animals, the pineal gland appears to play a major role in sexual development, hibernation, metabolism, and seasonal breeding.

Some recent studies show that the degree of pineal gland calcification is significantly higher in patients with Alzheimer’s disease vs. other types of dementia. Pineal gland calcification may also contribute to the pathogenesis of Alzheimer’s disease and may reflect an absence of crystallization inhibitors. Calcium, phosphorus, and fluoride deposits in the pineal gland have been correlated with aging, showing that, as the brain ages, more deposits collect.

This been said, it would mean that we get more “grumpy” by age. It seems we should, but you must noticed that there are many people over 60 who are very happy and healthy.

Can we prevent Calcification of pineal gland?

Oh YES, thank God we can. Otherwise we would be doomed to think about suicide after certain age – who needs to be old and brainless and burden to everyone.

Numerous spiritual philosophies contain the notion of an inner Third Eye that is related to the Ajna chakra and also the pineal gland, and to which is attributed significance in mystical awakening or enlightenment, clairvoyant perception, and higher states of consciousness. This idea occurs historically in ancient central and east Asia, and also in contemporary occult theories relating to yoga, Theosophy, Hinduism, Pagan religions, and New Age spiritual philosophies.

This what spiritual philosophies talk and teach about, is our key to prevent calcification of pineal gland, giving us numerous exercises, mental and physical.

The pineal gland is our “power source”.

Some call it “awakening pineal gland”, some “activation of pineal gland”, some “revitalization of pineal gland”. Whatever you call it, it is beneficial in many ways:

– it boosts memory

– makes you learn easier

– increases creative

– intuition becomes your primer guide

 reveals your hidden psychic healing  abilities

– and among many other things – there is enlightenment to consider

The main problem about calcification of pineal gland is “LACK OF USE”

And of course over use of some food and substance like fluoride, white sugar, processed food, ect. Should I say that “outdoor activities” are good for your pineal gland, or you got it by now?

By lack of use, it means that you are not using your concentration enough. We tend to avoid any activity that needs our concentration. We prefer to blame it on “patience”, like I hear every day from at least 5 different people: ” I have no patience”.

Well, dear, practice makes perfect. Only question is, are you willing to do something beneficial for yourself or you tend to keep blaming everything and everyone?

Simple exercise of relaxing your body, part by part, can increase your concentration and rejuvenate your pineal gland. There is also “solfeggio meditation” (certain music frequencies) for activation of pineal gland – its 936HZ. Exercises like Meditation, Yoga, Tai Chi, etc. You can simply close your eyes and concentrate at the area between your eyebrows. In some article I’ll give you exact explanation of exercises I’m doing from time to time. I use to do them on regular bases – the effects are amazing.
